Video: Urban Abstract … allein die Beschreibung flasht schon ungemein
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009Urban Abstract is a journey across urban space that unfolds in forty, 5 second parts. The journey, in one, two and three dimensions, is a bit like abstract surfing in which the original destination is only reached after a number of seemingly random yet linked detours occur. Points , lines, planes and other abstract elements create a journey through an Urban Abstract.
The space between things is as important as intended space, perhaps creating a fourth dimension. Meaningful shapes and purposes occur in this dimension’s reality as well. The concept of negative space has meaning here.
Nature plays a part as well. To be able to understand and differentiate what is urban one has understand what is nature.
Und der Video und Sound dazu …. fantatatastisch ….

Graffiti mit “Tiefe”
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009Battle of Branchage – Architektur-Projektion

Sweatshoppe – Video Graffiti
Sunday, October 25th, 2009Video-Performance meets Streetart …
Speaking of action painting, performance art duo Bruno Levy and Blake Shaw ( aka Sweatshoppe ) have taken it to the next level by coming up with a way to “paint with video”.
From what we understand there is no actual paint involved. Instead the rollers have LEDs which are motion tracked by a projector yielding the results seen in the video above. This is a very cool idea and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot more of this in the future. Sweatshoppe developed the software that drives this themselves and are said to be releasing it to the public as they work out some of the bugs.

Fotografien: Das Letzte was sie sahen
James Dean

Sehr beeindruckend finde ich.
This is an interesting photo exhibit that happened a couple weeks ago entitled the “Wapping Project.” It’s a series of 9 photographs of the last thing that 9 icons (ranging from James Dean to Princess Diana) saw before they died in a car crash. Photographer Dead Rogers snapped the images on the anniversary of their deaths, at the exact time of day the impact occurred and the precise position the car was before the collision.
